NEBC BOD Elections, take 2

Due to changes we made in the by-laws at the banquet in December, we have a second round of elections. You have between now and February 13 to send your e-mail vote to Tami Buhr. You can also vote in person at the February BOD meeting (details pending).

One of the changes we made was to expand the size of the board. We have added a secretary. Jean Cunningham, a previously elected at-large member, has moved to that slot. We also added an additional at-large member so that we have an odd number of directors for voting purpose. This leaves 2 open at-large spots on the board. Please select two from the following slate of candidates:

Scott Brooks
Jim Burke
David Chiu
Annette Kennedy
Cris Rothfus

We also changed the date of our elections so that we hold them in February at our annual meeting. Because of this change, the terms of the board members who were elected in November are technically coming to a close after three months. Rather than hold a full set of elections again, the current board is asking that you ratify an extension of our terms for a year so that they will expire in February 2007. A simple up or down vote is sufficient. The current board includes:

Tami Buhr, President
Mark McMaster, Vice President
Jean Cunningham, Secretary
Jim O’Connor, Treasurer
Bob Evans, Membership
Julian Hjorshoj, At-large
Robb Rennie, At-large

Once again, you can e-mail your votes or come to the meeting February (details pending). Vote early, but please, don’t vote often!
