Monday Night Training Ride Begins 4/18
Now that the clocks have been fixed, we can start the regular Monday night training rides. Sorry if anyone was at Bedford this past Monday, but I had a meeting. Next week we have a Club meeting, so I’ll be there instead. So, starting on April 18, we’ll roll off out of the Beford Library parking lot at 6:15pm for an hour-or-so cool-down ride. This is indeed an easy ride intended to recover from the weekend racing. Leave your big ring at home, because we will enforce the small chainring rule!!
Non-members are invited, but they must sign the infamous waiver (which I’ll have with me.) The ride is also a good opportunity for new riders and racers to get into group riding (pacelining.)
I realize that Bedford can be a tough place to get through at rush hour, so I’ll exercise some discretion about waiting a bit longer if I know or feel that others may be arriving a bit late. If this location doesn’t work for enough people, we can move it to another location (I come down from Beverly, so some place north of Beford would probably work for me.)
