Parking at the Concord Visitors Center lot on Keyes Road helps us a lot (and gets you easy access to a bathroom). It also worked well giving out numbers immediately on signup (no need to shorten your warmup to return to the registration lot after signing in). We still need to work on staying out of traffic at the start line, however, and on keeping the lot entrance clear after riding. (Come enjoy a healthy collapse on the grass instead of standing in the roadway….) Thanks again. The NPS will be observing our progress next week, so let's keep up the good work. While the Bolgens were out for some fun on the tandem and the men battled the wind as much as each other, Samantha van Gerbig set a blistering pace for the women. Despite less than ideal conditions, she set a PR and was within 13 seconds of Karen Smyers' course record. Coleman O'Connor was the only rider who managed to break 21 minutes to pull off the overall win tonight.
