Ward Solar was the fast man tonight, followed by Corey Masson slipping under 21 minutes. Dede Griesbauer chased down Karen Smyers for the women's lead and tonight we had a new category with John Laupheimer on a vintage single speed with fenders (I didn't weigh it, but he was probably pushing 40 lbs.) On another note, the police in both Concord and Carlisle were watching the race closely tonight and I'm sure we'll be talking with them soon. Please remember that we need to ride legally, safely, and with courtesy in traffic. Keep in mind that drivers who don't ride don't have the same up-close view of the road and may not recognize riders traveling at car-like speeds, so try to be as predictable as possible and anticipate road hazards.
