Sparkly red banana seat, sissy bar, streamer laden single speed ; Hand me down from my sister

Scarborough Road Race
What would you consider your finest moment on the bike?
Eating a slice of pie in every town I road through on RAGBRAI 2003 which came to about 60 slices of pie on the week.
What was your worst or most embarrassing moment on the bike?
Wiping out in front of the official’s stand at the Lake Auburn Road Race after I’d been dropped and was about to DNF. The crash caused me to rip my new custom yellow saddle.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve seen on a bike ride?
Decorated road kill

THE Sunapee Road Race
What’s the best advice you ever got for training/racing on the bike?
When you think about quitting, make a deal to hang on one more minute, and then you do another minute, and another minute, and eventually it eases up.
