Bradshaw Silver at Massachusetts State Road Championships
Windsor, MA – Peter Bradshaw, Roy Van Cleef, Todd Rowell, and Peter Shaprio made the trek out to Western Mass for one of the toughest P/1/2/3 races in New England, which also happened to be the Massachusetts State Road Race Championship.
Bradshaw made the first move of the day which set Roy up for the counter, unfortunately the pace in the break proved to be too high on this hot and muggy day, and Roy was dropped from the break on the longest and toughest climb half way through the race. Bradshaw had made it in to the chase group and cruised in for the Silver fending off cramps and the Bronze finisher by 18 seconds!
Todd Rowell made his triumphant return to racing after nearly a month off due to illness with a strong performance coming in just ahead of Peter Shapiro.
John Broussard was the highest placed finisher in the Cat 3 race, and finished just outside the front group for 4th in Massachusetts.
